Tortuguero 
Village

Tortuguero is a small village located on the northeast coast of Costa Rica. It can be correctly recognized as an island with a tropical rainforest weather all year long.

Having approximately two thousand habitants.

Founded in the early 1930's and declared National Park in 1974 using 99% of its National Park land for conservancy and onbly 1% for tourism.  

How to get to Tortuguero

Once at La Pavona Main Dock or Tortuguero Main Dock

Once you arrive at La Pavona main dock or Tortuguero's Main Dock, there would be certified guides from the hotel waiting for you with your reservation's name.

This service is to provide assitance during the travel if the guest required anything. once at Tortuguero these guides will take you to the hotel walking.

How can I get to Tortuguero?

There are three ways to reach Tortuguero. You may travel from Moín by boat, with an approximate travel time of three hours and a fare of USD $38.50 per person, from La Pavona by boat, with an approximate travel time of one hour and a fare of USD $9.00 per person, or by air by booking your domestic flight online. Upon arrival at both La Pavona Dock and Tortuguero Dock, our staff will be waiting to welcome you, provide guidance, and assist you. They can be easily identified by the shirt displaying your hotel's name.
